Quick Pics Post!
I've decided that I need to clone myself, a much more relaxed, organized and calm self. I'm so freaking busy! I work all day, and all I want to do when I come home is be with my Mason. So, until I can become the first human "Dolly" I've decided to institute a new "Quick Pics Post." I don't have to blog something hilarious or cute...I can just let the pictures do all the talking. Here you go!!!

Back to work, and no more hair down the back!
I had to go back to work today. I don't even want to talk about it. A huge thank you to everyone who called and texted their love and support. Thanks Mom, for coming in to take care of Mason and for picking up the pieces when I fell apart! I love you.
Also, big news tonight! My husband is back!!! He cut his beautiful long hair today, after growing it out for locks of love! His beloved niece was there to do the honors. Kate has alapecia and has struggled with hair loss for a while now. It's now growing back and she looks beautiful! I'm glad my clean cut man is back, however I have to say, the long hair was kinda sexy. The fact that he grew it out over a year for his Katie-bug was even sexier! He's a wonderful man!! I'll post pictures as soon as his mama sends them to me!

Let it Snow!
So, it snowed in Auburn today! Beautiful! Travis made a snowman all by himself. He was like a big kid all day. The dogs loved running all through the yard, I loved watching Lexi, if the snow made Travis act like a kid, then it made her act like a puppy! She loved it.We bundled up little Mason and took him outside for some quick pictures. He looked adorable in his little outfit from Jackie and John! I kept thinking to myself, this is the first time Mason has worn shoes, this is the first time he has seen the snow. I mean that's a really big deal, you know? So many firsts are still to come and what a blessing each and every one will be!

Poor Baby!
Mason had his first round of shots yesterday. Poor thing, I have never heard him cry like that. Thankfully I was able to nurse him seconds after the shots were given and he calmed down and fell asleep in five minutes. I loved the feeling of being able to comfort him when he was scared and in pain. It makes all the early frustrations of breastfeeding well worth it. Travis was such a huge help and so far he hasn't missed a doctor's appointment. He's so wonderful with little Mason. When we got home, he was still fussy but fell asleep and had a nice nap. That night he was very fussy, but settled down after his bath and slept the whole night, expect when we woke him a bit to give him some Tylenol. Bless his little heart, he did so good. I love my little man so much.

On another note, my boss called me yesterday to ask if I was coming back to work. I said yes and we tentatively set March 16th as the date. So, now all I can think about is how much I'm going to miss him and how in the hell am I going to be able to leave him? I've already started crying about it. I'm trying to focus on the positives. I love my job, I'm great at it and Mason is in very good hands....but they aren't my hands. You know? God give me strength.

Say Cheese Baby!
SO, I am super duper excited! Travis and I ordered a D90 Nikon digital camera and it arrived today! I took 200 pictures of Mason in about 10 minutes. I felt like a photographer on America's Next Top Model! It's addicting! Mason was my model and he looked FIERCE! We had a great time. Here are just some of my favorites!

2 Months Old!
Mason is sleeping through the night. Amazing. He goes down around 10:30pm and sleeps until six the next morning. At first it freaked us out a bit, but we are slowly getting used to not getting up for those 2 am feedings. He loves to be rocked, and stare at the dimmed lights on the ceiling fan in his room before he slowly starts closing his eyes and falls asleep in your arms. Those are the sweetest moments, because Mason flashes this beautiful sleepy, closed-eyed smile just before he falls into a deep slumber. I love it, I get to kiss him and smell him and cuddle him. It is by far my most favorite time of day.
Mom and Daddy came for a visit this weekend. We had a great time and Travis cooked a delicious steak dinner for Valentine's day. He added a fourth diamond to the necklace my mom gave me. The first diamond is for my grandmother, the second is for her the third is for me and now the fourth is for Mason. My sweet, sentimental husband. What would I do without him?
So, that's it. Going to go brush my teeth, and get in bed. Snuggle up next to my sleeping husbabnd and try not to stare at the baby monitor. Good night baby Mason, thank you for the BEST two months of my life.

Park Play
It was a GORGEOUS day outside! So, Travis and I took Mason, Lexi and Pebbles to the park. I was a bit nervous when we pulled up and saw all the people and dogs. I was worried about all three of my babies. The dogs getting away, or the stroller tipping over. Travis could see the tension on my face, and said, "Okay, you are not allowed to freak out, honey."

So, I took a deep breath and we exited the vehicle. Surprisingly, it went great. The dogs were wonderful, Mason slept and cried for a bit before we could get him a bottle, then he just looked around and all the people and trees. He loves the outside! It was so relaxing. I can't wait for more of these days together with our new family.
